Do these ratings meet any particular access standards (such as ADA guidelines)?

The Every One's Welcome ratings do not strictly follow any one set of guidelines. Instead, they reflect a variety of criteria for basic access to establishments by persons with disabilities. Since the majority of persons with disabilities have mobility impairments, physical accessibility is the primary focus of the Every One's Welcome ratings.

How do I find a listing?

You can complete a search using one or more of the following criteria: category/subcategory, overall access, access feature rated "good", and search word(s).

Category/Subcategory: first select from the list of available categories (the number in parentheses represents the number of listings available in that particular category). Once you have made a selection, you may then select a subcategory to narrow down your search even further.

Overall Access: this allows you to narrow your search to only display listings that have an overall rating of good, fair or poor.

Access Feature Rated "Good": you can display only those listings that are rated good according to one of the following access features: information, getting there, getting around, washrooms, seating, food services, affordability or lodging.

Search Word(s): this will display only those listings that contain your search word(s) in the title, description keywords, or address.

How do I leave my own feedback for a particular listing?

First click on the listing; then click on the button labeled "rate this listing" (located just below the listing title). You will then be asked to answer questions related to the access features of that particular listing. NOTE: to leave feedback you must first sign in as a registered user in good standing.

How can my company advertise on the Every One's Welcome website?

There are two ways to advertise on the Every One's Welcome website. Regular sponsors will get their 80 x 80 pixel hyperlinked logo added to the Sponsors page while lead sponsors will not only get their logo placed on the Sponsors page, they will also get their logo added to the Every One's Welcome banner, which appears on every page. Statistics are kept for all sponsors regarding the number of times their logo is both viewed and clicked upon. Contact us today if you are interested in becoming a sponsor.
